Becoming a Queen will have its Canadian debut in-person screening this Saturday November 6th 2021, at 7pm inside The Royal Cinema in Toronto. The event is being held by CaribbeanTales’ Jamaica Night, in partnership with JAMPRO and Telefilm Canada.
After only previously having online screenings in five festivals throughout four different countries, Queen will finally hit the (physical) big screen for all to see! (Queen was screened both online and in-person this past October at the Baltimore International Black Film Festival.)
Discounted tickets for this Saturday can be purchased here.
Our film will follow a very powerful Jamaican/UK short film entitled No Entry. After the screening there will be a Q&A with myself and Joella and other featured individuals from the film.
We look forward to seeing you there!
