With the hardships of Covid-19 throughout 2020, the WBC (World Boxing Council) Cares Program has been providing uplifting content from boxers around the world. This time they asked their anti-bullying ambassador and youth champ Joseph Brown to share some words.
Hailing from Surrey, Canada and now residing in Toronto, Joseph Brown currently holds both the WAKO Canada Kickboxing Championship belt and the CAN-AM International Championship belt to go with a slew of medals. Joseph also holds the Canadian record for fastest ever amateur knockout, and second fastest amateur in the world at 10 seconds. Just for context, Mike Tyson holds the world record for fastest ever amateur knockout in 8 seconds, so that’s pretty impressive!
Callowgrove Entertainment’s Chris Strikes teamed up, producer-manager Howard Green and Joseph’s father, Martin Brown, to help get Joseph’s message of encouragement and positivity across to boxing fans around the world dealing with the pandemic.
Look out for this future Olympian and World Champion!
