OUR ATHIANA
Our Athiana is a short documentary that captures the essence of a charming farm in Richmond, B.C., and the passionate team behind it, led by the charismatic Managing Director, Simran Panatch and Farm Director, Daniel Garfinkel.
The film delves into Simran's personal journey, tracing her family's migration from India to Canada, and their transformative work in turning a conventional farm reliant on unhealthy monocropping into a thriving model of sustainable, regenerative agriculture. Daniel Garfinkel, the farm’s insightful director, shares his deep passion for sustainable farming practices, healing the land and radicchio, highlighting its unique role in the farm’s production and culinary significance.
With a vision to make the farm a hub for community engagement, Simran and Daniel invite community to connect through workshops, yoga, and vibrant markets featuring local vendors.
